About Eric Bever
In 2004, voters demanded a bright future for Costa Mesa, and understood that hard work and hard decisions were necessary to make Real Improvement happen. Voters trusted my ability, desire, and fortitude to get things done.
I am proud of the improvements achieved citywide, and of the growing pride we have in our community. I‘m honored to provide leadership, ideas, and action that benefit our: Seniors, Kids, Families, Neighborhoods, Businesses, and Quality-of-Life.
I’ve initiated many continuing improvement projects.
Developing solutions for the SR-55 terminus and associated cut-through traffic.
Residential Remodeling Incentive Program, which waives fees for home improvements, results: $35,000,000 in improvements since 2005.
Plans to create a new 10 acre sports complex.
Overlay zones incentivizing revitalization projects in 670 acres of the Westside.
Increased residential street repaving.
I will continue the fight to: Keep taxes low / Ensure that illegal-alien criminals arrested in Costa Mesa are deported (700+ flagged since 12/06) / Stay tough on gangs and crime / Keep our neighborhoods safe.
My endorsements include: Neighborhood Leaders, Congressman Rohrabacher, Senator Harman, Assemblyman Tran, Supervisor Moorlach, past Mayors: Hammet, Hall, Buffa, Monahan, and Mansoor.
With your vote – together - we can continue Improving Costa Mesa!
